ABSTRACT

The Open Group, the vendor-neutral technology consortium, has announced the launch of the Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU) Forum, a Forum of The Open Group. This Forum will be focused on developing a standard OSDU data platform that will transform the way the industry stores, shares, and analyzes subsurface data. The paper summarizes the vision, value, and approach of this standard data platform.
