We demonstrate how 3D DAS VSP data acquired in a well through salt can be used to image a challenging salt flank, utilizing a modified Reverse Time Migration of transmitted waves. A refined salt model would allow more reliable subsalt imaging with DAS VSP and surface seismic data.
