The dolomite reservoir, with great exploration potential, is widespread in Sichuan Basin. The study area is located in the northwest of Sichuan Basin, the reservoir of Permian Qixia formation is thin, and the lateral distribution is discontinuous, which is difficult to predict. Therefore, we firstly analyze the main controlled factors of the reservoir. We utilize a series of methods, such as paleotopography recovery, seismic modeling and attributes, high resolution inversion and fracture forecast methods, to deal with the problems. Finally, we integrate the prediction results to comprehensively evaluate the Qixia formation dolomite reservoir. In this way, we have a basic understanding of the development of dolomite reservoir in this region. Such prediction method of thin dolomite reservoir has good effect.
