ABSTRACT

In seismic modeling, inversion and migration, considering the rugged surface and anisotropy has important practical values, especially for desert and foothills regions with complex near-surface. On the basis of previous research, we promote the shortest path method (SPM) and tomograpy algorithm to VTI media with rugged surface, for calculating traveltime and multi-parameter inversion. Also, we introduce a sub-node method to increase angle coverage and reduce computation. Then we derive the normalization matrix that harmonize the magnitude of multi-parameters. Numerical experiment shows that our method can reliably used in traveltime calculation and joint inversion.
