High-density 3D seismic exploration technology has played an important part in rolling exploration and discovery of new reservoirs,, by improving both formational imaging precision and the discernment of thin reservoirs and fractures. We utilize high-density seismic detection on the massive pluvial-fan conglomerate reservoir, which has extremely low porosity and low permeability. The developmental uncertainty of this geologic unit is due to the unclear relationship between injection and product wells. With the application of high-density 3D seismic data, the fanglomerate unit and the internal structure of the thick-layer sands have been clarified. 3D seismic data clearly captures the contrasting character of sublayers and highlights a fault set that locally offset the strata. We analyze the affect of these geologic relations on the relationship between injection and product wells.
