Conventional one-way wave equation used in seismic migration is not energy conserving. As a result, it can not provide correct amplitudes for the reflector. To correct image amplitudes the one-way energy-conserving wave equation is proposed to be applied in seismic migration. Since the new wave equation is similar to the conventional one-way wave equation, it is easy to implement without increasing too much computational time. In order to compensate for the acquisition aperture, the Hessian is applied to the final image. This method is tested with both synthetic and real dataset.
