Seismic predicting technique is used to describe the distribution and scale of oil and gas reservoir, being instructed by reservoir description theory, by means of velocity or impedance data inversed from general seismic data. During the studying, the strong points of interpretation and inversion software are integrated to do some entirely and systemic work include fine structure interpretation, subtly geological modeling, seismic inversion constrainted by well logging, sandy reservoir prediction and so on, aimed at the geological characteristic of objective formation for oil and gas in Yong-an area, Dongying sag, Bohaiwan basin. The turbidite sandbody, being predicted in the middle section of the third member of Shahejie formation by inversed seismic data combined with drilling data, has advantageous accumulation condition. It''s discovery extended the scope for oil and gas in studied area.
