The method employs Analytical Signal and Hilbert Transform of the magnetic field data to compute the magnetic source parameters. Based on 2-D dipping thin dike model it assumes no presence of remanent magnetization. Processing of the magnetic profiles provide details that facilitate the graphical presentation of the magnetic confined sources on depth and edge location by Green function. It is shown the evaluation of the structural index, compounding this method with that of extended Euler deconvolution, as a very helpful and informative tool in geological interpretation. This method is tested with success on synthetic magnetic data model. A field example on modeling of magnetic profile, gridded data acquired over magmatic and sedimentary terrains, Albania, is presented.
