In this paper an approach aimed to integrate the benefits of pre-stack depth migration and the advantages offered by non-seismic methods is discussed. It is based on a recursive flow of time/depth processing, forward and inverse modeling of seismic and non-seismic data. The final purpose is to produce the best seismic imaging and, at same time, to create a parametric model honoring all the available seismic and non-seismic information. The data set of the ESIT ("Enhance Seismic In Thrust belts") research project, founded by Enterprise Oil, Eni Agip and European Union was used in order to apply the approach to a real case of complex geological setting.
