Summary
This paper describes the Diverless Subsea Product System (DISPS) project design, development, and dry prototype testing of three diverless tie-in systems for application to 4- to 12-in.-diameter flowlines in water depths of 1, 200 to 2, 500 ft. Full-scale simulation of direct pull-in, lateral deflection, and vertical stab techniques with two tools for flowline pull-in and connection was undertaken and design limits were established.
