Summary

Special consideration must be given to the design, choice of and components and to quality control during manufacture of rock anchors before their installation in the ground. For anchors usirrg threadbar as the tension component it will be shown how the chosen components enable simple manufacture and installation, and how continuous quality control from assembly, through to proof. stressing creates a high degree of safety and reliability of rock anchor construction.
