Summary
The results of the tests are presented on the choice of components of the supports and protective measures, and their use on a commercial scale in hydrotechnical workings driven under difficult geological and mining conditions during construction of hydro-electric power plant "Beskid". In addition, the results of the tests are given on the choice of long bolts of reinforced concrete, pre-tensioned prestressed concrete and post-tensioned prestressed concrete /up to 15 m/ to protect the rooms of very large overall dimensions. The problems connected with investigation of rock mass and with lining of the chamber of power plant are presented.
