Underground mining requires preliminary knowledge of influence of disturbed rock massif equilibrium to the underground working face as well as to the ground surface. This fact poses requirement for determination of prognostic parameters values that describe the influence of mining. Those are parameters which describe rock massif behaviour around the mining workings and its influence to displacement and deformations of the ground surface. The paper is being dealt by calculation of prognostic values of mentioned parameters for the case of shallow coal seam longwall mining and complex rock massif conditions. Due to insufficient knowledge of the rock massif characteristics, the rock mass model for calculation was simplified, and that is why using just one method of calculation is not enough reliable. Taking into account consequences of mining, prognostic values is necessary to check by using more different methods. By this paper was proved that these two methods supplementing each other in checking obtained results.
