The paper does test research of floating state and resistance performance for HYSWATH model with non-autonomous combination hydrofoil system, measures and analyzes the draft, trim angle of model and law of resistance with the change of navigational speed, hydrofoil position and angle of attack, test results show that the trim angle of HYSWATH model is relatively small in hull-borne, transition, foil-borne operation and different navigational status, non-autonomous combination hydrofoil system can ensure the flotation condition of HYSWATH ship model in the whole sailing process; at the same time, changes of the position and angle of attack of the front hydrofoil have a large impact on resistance properties of HYSWATH model and the speed of ship model entering into foilborne condition, and can improve the resistance performance of the ship in transient state.
