Abstract

This article represents the consideration of the ice cover stresses caused by aircraft landing and take-off. It is assumed that water is an ideal incompressible liquid and that the motion of the liquid is potential. The theory is linear, and the plate is assumed to be elastic. Aircraft is represented by pressure distribution under landing gears with lift force taken into account. The influence of ice thickness, basin depth, and unsteady moving on the possibility of ice cover destruction is analyzed.
