Abstract
The reverse circulation drilling (RC) method has been used widely in the mineral exploration. This drilling method uses the liquid or compressed air as the circulation medium for drilling samples, this paper introduces the liquid reverse circulation drilling utilized for oceanic gas hydrate prospecting with low temperature mud, it will save a lot money and time under meeting the requirement of gas hydrate exploration and resource evaluation.
