Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of container carriages' development prospects in arctic region there is a review of cargo transportation test along the Russian Arctic Coast in the article. The external factors are analyzed, which influence the carrier exploitation and the transfer lines organization in the Arctic Region, including the prospects of container transportation development in Arctic. The article examines external factors, that must be considered while justifying the creation of a container transportation system. The classification of those factors is offered.
