Simulating the Storm Surge of Typhoon No.1210 “DAMREY" and its Characteristic Analysis Available to Purchase

At 9 am. on Aug., 2,2012, the most severe typhoon ‘DAMREY’ landed north of the Yangtze River since 1949, has landed on Chenjiagang town in Xiangshui county in Jiangsu Province. A practical storm surge model including the role of wave set-up in Jiangsu Offshore Areas is proposed. The new model can not only improve the physical process of wave set-up and time-saving, but also obtain a more satisfactory result than the old one through the simulation of the storm surge of typhoon No. 1210 ‘DAMREY’ in Jiangsu coastal areas.
