One of the primary reasons is to prevent accidents and injury or death to employees.

A crane safety program is a sound investment. Its payback will be found in fewer accidents and injuries, lower insurance costs, a higher company reputation and employee self esteem.

Insurance will pay for some of the lost dollars. It won't cover:

  • General disruption to business

  • Equipment replacement cost

  • Damage to the organization's reputation

  • Loss of confidence by employees and customers

  • Regulatory fines

  • Investigation time

  • Replacing and training injured employees

  • Overtime

  • Attorney's fees

  • Settlements.
