ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The accuracy and efficiency of DDA algorithms to fulfill the basic physical laws depend upon mainly the integrations on complex rock shapes. The analytical formulae of the newly developed simplex integrations are derived and applied to DDA formulation. Simplex integrations are accurate solution on n-dimensional generally shaped domains. The integrand could be any multi-dimensional polynomials. The results depend on the coordinates of boundary vertices only. The DDA computations of three rock failure cases are presented.
